FÉRIAS DIVERTIDAS
The "Férias Divertidas" project, Fun Holidays in English, since its inception in 2005, has consisted of carrying out sporting, recreational and educational activities. It is based on the creation of a program adapted to each age group, composed of different activities with different themes.
"Férias Divertidas" has gained significant relevance due to its type of support for families, being one of the central activities of Garouta do Calhau's policy for the social area of youth, fundamental for stimulating the acquisition of new learning and discoveries, promoting knowledge and the development of personal and social skills, as well as healthy lifestyle habits and practices.
This project is aimed at children and young people aged between 6 and 13 years old, based at the Dr. Horácio Bento de Gouveia School, and takes place during the months of July and August.

Dates: July and August (from 2 July to 31 August)
Schedule: 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Location: Dr. Horácio Bento de Gouveia Basic School (2nd and 3rd Cycles)
Age Group: 6 to 13 years old
Type of Activities (planned): Swimming, Beach Activities, Outings, Cultural Visits, among others
Registration Fee: The participation in the "Férias Divertidas" activities is free of charge. However, parents or guardians are required to collaborate in the sale of raffle tickets provided by Garouta do Calhau. The raffle tickets will be distributed upon delivery of the required materials for "Férias Divertidas" and constitute an essential condition for the participant's integration into the "Férias Divertidas" project.
